Michaela Bourgeois joined KOIN 6 News as a Digital Content Producer in October 2021.
Before joining KOIN 6, she was a legislative intern for the United States Senate.
Michaela graduated from the University of Oregon in 2020. She double-majored in journalism and cinema studies and minored in political science.
In school, Michaela was a member of Duck TV, the University of Oregon’s student-run television station, where she helped produce shows.
Michaela grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon. In her free time, she loves to travel, go to college and pro football and basketball games, and check out local restaurants and coffee shops.
