Dan Tilkin anchors the KOIN 6 News at 4 p.m. as well as continuing his award-winning Investigative Reporting.
Dan is one of the longest-tenured reporters in Portland. He has been uncovering and gathering news here since 1997.
Dan has earned numerous accolades, including an Edward R. Murrow Award for his investigative reports.
Dan began his broadcast career in 1993 in Yakima, before moving on to Eureka, California that same year.
In 1994, Dan moved to KSBY in San Luis Obispo/Santa Barbara, before coming to Portland.
Dan attended the University of Washington as a Washington Scholar. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Journalism.
