I love fishing. My dad taught me young and to this day, my nickname is still ‘Fishy’.

I love playing softball and volleyball, along with hiking and exploring the Oregon coast.

I grew up in Minnesota. My family and I often explored the state on our snowmobiles.

I’m very artistic. My drawing was chosen as the emblem to represent my high school graduating class. I even started college as an interior design major.

I accepted my first television job at the NBC affiliate, KTTC, in Rochester, Minnesota and covered the I-35W bridge collapse and historic floods.

I worked at the NBC affiliate, LEX18 in Lexington, Kentucky. I covered the Kentucky Derby and Bluegrass Stakes for two years.

I also worked for the CBS affiliate, WISC in Madison, Wisconsin.

I married my husband in 2012 – he’s a local news photographer.

My husband and I accompanied the Badger Honor Flight’s trip to Washington, D.C. with Korean and World War II Veterans. It was my most memorable assignment yet.

I grew up listening to country music. It was an honor to interview Garth Brooks, except I wore mismatched shoes and he noticed. Ask me about it sometime.

I don’t particularly like cooking. But I love using my crock pot. Send me your favorite recipes!
