Liz joined KOIN 6 News as a reporter and anchor in November 2020. She is from the Portland area and is thrilled to have the opportunity to work for the station she grew up watching.

Before returning to the Pacific Northwest, Liz worked in Tampa as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor and in Asheville, North Carolina, as a reporter and anchor. Before that, she spent several years in Spokane working as a producer and reporter. Over the course of her career, Liz has won one EMMY and been nominated for five others, including for live reporting.

Liz has covered multiple national stories, including historic wildfires in Washington State, Hurricane Irma’s landfall, the death of preacher Billy Graham, and several high-profile trials. She also worked on investigative stories in Asheville which looked into how population growth in the area impacted crime, the economy, and the people who live there.

When she’s not at work, Liz says she’s most likely trying out local restaurants and breweries. She tries to balance that out by playing tennis, doing yoga and hiking with her rescue dog, Arrow.

Liz is a proud Washington State University graduate (Go Cougs!) and avid Blazers fan (obviously.)
