Lineup set for 2019 Waterfront Blues Festival

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Waterfront Blues Festival is just a month away — and over 100 acts are set to take the stage.

The festival runs from July 4-7 at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park. Single-day tickets went on sale on June 1. Tickets are $20 in advance of $25 at the gate. Four-day passes are also available.

The July 4th headline is Blues icon Robert Cray — who has a platinum-selling album to his credit. Oregon Blues legend Curtis Salgado is also scheduled to play that day.

“This is the largest blues festival west of the Mississippi and the unofficial start of summer in Portland, ” Peter Dammann, artistic director for the fest, said. “This is a town that loves blues and soul, and we show it every year.”
