PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Authorities are investigating a homicide in Vancouver after finding one person dead and another injured Thursday night.
Shortly after 7 p.m., Vancouver police responded to a report of a disturbance with a weapon near Northeast 112th Avenue and Northeast Chkalov Drive.
Once there, police said they found a man deceased and a woman shot in the hand. The woman was quickly taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police did not release any details regarding a suspect.
VPD’s Major Crime Unit is handling the investigation.
