Fire rips through press box at Reynolds High School

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An investigation is underway after the press box at Reynolds High School went up in flames early Wednesday morning, school officials confirmed to KOIN 6.

According to the Gresham Fire Department, the blaze on Southwest Cherry Park Road and Southwest Berryessa Place started just before 2 a.m. and tore through the upper levels of the three-story building which was storing sporting equipment. The third floor was the most damaged in the fire, officials said.

Video of the scene shows firefighters battling heavy smoke and flames coming from a single structure. The blaze has since been put out.

No one was reported injured.

School officials said classes remained on schedule.

There is no word on the cause of the fire. An investigation is underway.
