2 arrested in Hillsboro officer-involved shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people have been arrested following an officer-involved shooting at a Hillsboro hotel on Saturday night.

Hillsboro Police arrested Elliot Carr and Nicola Kostov, also known as Peacelynn Butterfly Perilloux, as a result of their investigation.

Kostov is facing charges of first-degree burglary, the unauthorized use of a vehicle and identity theft as well.

Carr has been charged with the unlawful use of a weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, the unauthorized use of a vehicle and identity theft.

Both are due in court Monday afternoon for their arraignments.

When Hillsboro Police initially contacted the two in at the Extended Stay America on Northeast Eider Court, an officer fired a gun during the incident. The Washington County Major Crimes Team is still investigating the officer-involved shooting.
