PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Crews searching Hagg Lake located a sunken vehicle after a report came in that a car with one occupant drove into the water Wednesday afternoon, Washington County officials said.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said they recovered 71-year-old Janine Vuylsteke of Forest Grove, who had died inside the vehicle after it sank into the water near Boat Ramp A.
Vuylsteke’s family has been notified, and authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
