The suspect is possibly armed with a gun, according to WCSO.

According to a tweet from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies searched for the suspect near the wooded area close to SW 158th Ave. and SW Walker Road. The suspect is described as a male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and a black mask.

Authorities were asking community members in the area to stay inside and call 911 if they see “anything suspicious.”

However, officials suspended the search by 3:25 p.m. despite no arrest being made.

The description of the suspect is a male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a black mask. If community members in the area have any information related to the crash or the driver of the Volkswagen, they are asked to call non-emergency dispatch at (503) 629-0111.
