CLACKAMAS CO., Ore. (KOIN) — Three people were killed in a crash just north of Molalla Saturday night, Oregon State Police said.
It happened at 9:15 p.m. when Joseph Ferris, 25, was driving a Toyota Supra south on Highway 211 and failed to negotiate a corner, slid sideways into it and was t-boned by a Buick sedan driving in the opposite direction, investigators determined.
Ferris and his passenger, 25-year-old Dylan Sams, died at the scene, police said.
Mark Cole, 55, was driving the Buick and was seriously injured in the crash. Tina Cole, 51, was sitting in the front seat and was also seriously injured. A 3-year-old boy in the backseat was seriously hurt and 19-year-old Cayla Cole sustained critical injuries.
All 4 people were taken to hospitals via air ambulance, OSP said.
Cayla reportedly died Sunday morning in the hospital.
The investigation into the crash continues.
