Chris Davis, who is already an Assistant Chief, will remain in the office as the Assistant Chief/Services.

Bob Day has been with PPB since 1990 and began as a patrol officer. He worked his way through the ranks and was promoted to captain in 2009.

Outlaw said the choices were made after a “comprehensive process” and “careful thought and consideration.”

“These individuals have demonstrated leadership, creativity in the use of resources and ideas to get the job done, and willingness to make changes when and where they are needed,” she added.
