PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Who killed Mrs. White? The leading suspect is Hasbro.
Hasbro, the maker of the board game “Clue,” offed the Mrs. White character — a domestic worker — and replaced her with Dr. Orchid, a biologist who was home schooled by — gasp! — Mrs. White!
That’s according to Slate.
Dr. Orchid, the story continues, got her Ph.D in plant toxicology.
“It was a difficult decision to say goodbye to Mrs. White,” a Hasbro marketing executive said in a statement, “but after 70 years of suspicious activity, we decided that one of the characters had to go.”
In the end, Mrs. White was killed by a marketer.
