PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One person died at a hospital Wednesday night after being shot at a MAX station parking lot in Hillsboro, police said.
The shooting happened in the parking lot of the Quatama MAX station on NW Quatama Road, according to the Hillsboro Police Department.
Kevin Marshall, 21, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. An autopsy showed he died of a gunshot wound to the head.
A person of interest who had been detained was released without charges, police said.
The west side of the parking lot was closed overnight for an investigation.
Police said there was no threat to the public.
