Armed robbery suspects caught in bushes, 2 arrested

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Armed robbery suspects fled to Fairview from Gresham Thursday night, where they ran from their car trying to escape police, officials said.

The two suspects, later identified as Antoinette McCall and Virgil Adams, robbed a dispensary before they led police to a mobile home park.

Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, Portland and Gresham Police responded to the NE 222nd and Barr Road, outside the park.

Residents said police had rifles, along with K-9 units and drones in the area searching for the suspects.

A resident said they saw one of the suspects jump the fence.

The woman tried to hide in a backyard, but got stuck in a bush, while the man was found in the woods behind the park, according to officials.

Both suspects have been arrested.
