PPB: Man dies after NE Portland shooting

Editor’s note: Upon speaking with the family of the victim, KOIN 6 News learned the victim died on Wednesday, March 23rd, not two weeks after the shooting, as was previously reported. Portland police also misspelled the man’s name and misstated his age. We regret the errors.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man who was shot in Northeast Portland has died, according to officials.

On March 16, Portland police responded to a call saying there was a “bloody person” in the area of NE Halsey Street and NE Cesar E Chavez Boulevard.
