TIGARD, Ore. (KOIN) — An argument inside a Tigard sports bar escalated into a woman firing shotgun blasts from a moving car and hitting another woman.
The violence erupted around 2:40 a.m. Wednesday when Cristy Anna Sisco and Carlos Alberto Quebrado got into an argument with another couple inside Lu’s Sports Bar and Lounge, police said.
Authorities said Sisco and Quebrado followed the other couple when they left the bar. That’s when a woman called police to say someone was shooting at them with a shotgun as they drove near SW Nimbus and Scholls Ferry.
A Tigard patrol officer was driving behind the car at the time of the call and saw a woman holding a shotgun out of a Ford Escape.
When the officer turned on lights-and-sirens, both Sisco and Quebrado ran from their vehicle near 10500 SW Nimbus Ave.
Quebrado, 35, ran toward Fanno Creek and a K-9 unit tracked him to a spot where he stayed in the water for nearly 3 hours before surrendering. He was checked out at a nearby hospital before being taken into custody on an unrelated felony warrant.
Sisco, 34, was quickly taken into custody. She’s charged with assault, unlawful use of a weaon and attempted murder. She just made her first court appearance and is being held at the Washington County Jail.
The woman suffered a minor injury from a gunshot, but her passenger wasn’t harmed.
