PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A driver faces a manslaughter charge after a pedestrian died from injuries sustained in a crash.

Investigators said William Craig Leptich, 64, hit Darnell Jolly with his truck on October 26 on SE Stark and 146th. Jolly died two days later from his injuries.

Along with the 2nd-degree manslaughter charges, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s office said Leptich faces a count of reckless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of intoxicants. The indictment said he had consumed alcohol and a controlled substance.
