PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Federal prosecutors are seeking a 30-35 year prison sentence for a man who is described as having an interest in hardcore child pornography, according to court documents.
Jason Andrew Dunlap was charged with one count of producing child pornography and plead guilty in February 2016.
During a 2014 search of his home, investigators found written directions for sedating a child using ketamine and Xanax, according to federal court documents.
Dunlap eventually admitted that he sexually abused four children and produced and distributed child porn. All of the victims in the case were younger than 12, according to court documents.
The maximum sentence Dunlap could receive is 50 years in prison.
“The offense conduct in this case is particularly egregious. [Dunlap] admitted to drugging and sexually abusing four separate children who were entrusted to his care…He produced child pornography that captured that abuse, and he circulated the images among fellow child pornographers on two ‘dark web’ sites,” federal prosecutors write in court documents.
Dunlap will be sentenced by Judge Michael H. Simon Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the downtown federal courthouse.
