PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man was found dead outside a Northeast Portland Goodwill store on Friday morning.
Portland police called the man’s death suspicious and later determined he died as a result of homicidal violence.
He was identified as 44-year-old Kenneth L. Coleman on Monday.
KOIN 6 News talked to his mother, who said he was a great father to his four boys and one daughter.
“He loved his kids,” Lana Claybourne said. “Really loved his kids.”
While authorities haven’t said how Coleman died, his mother said he was shot.
“Goodwill continues to help the police with their investigation and pass condolences on to the bereaved,” marketing manager David Roberts said.
Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering up to a $2,500 reward. Anyone with information is asked to contact Portland police at 503.823.4357
