Meth, heroin found in car of speeding CA teens

GOSHEN, Ore. (KOIN) — Two California men were arrested in Lane County Monday after a traffic stop led troopers to find crystal methamphetamine and heroin hidden in their car, Oregon State Police said.

Charles Hallmark, 18, and Angel Guzman, 19, from Riverside, California were allegedly driving 109 mph in a 65 mph zone on I-5 when they were pulled over.

An officer conducted a search of the car with the help of an OSP drug detection K9.

Inside, they found approximately 2.7 pounds of heroin and 2 pounds of crystal meth, OSP said.

The drugs were reportedly found in a hidden compartment.

Both teens will go to court for unlawful possession of heroin and meth.

Hallmark was also cited for excessive speed.
