SALEM, Ore. (KOIN) — A pedestrian was seriously injured in a 2-car crash on Silverton Road Thursday evening.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Dept. is investigating the crash, which involved a black Chevrolet car that deputies believe ran a red light at Silverton Rd and Lancaster Dr.
The Chevrolet was hit by another car and pushed into the pedestrian, who was crossing Lancaster on a skateboard. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to survive.
