PF&R: Woman hospitalized after pin-in crash

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 46-year-old woman was taken to the hospital following a pin-in crash on Thursday afternoon, officials said.

The crash happened on N Columbia Boulevard and N Chautauqua Boulevard at 4:10 p.m., Portland Fire & Rescue said.

A total of 4 people were reportedly in the RV with a trailer when it crashed.

Two people left the scene in a hurry, one stayed on scene, and a woman was trapped inside, Rick Tyler with PF&R said.

Crews cut a hole in the top of the RV to get the woman out.

She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A semi-truck was also involved in the crash, fire officials said. An investigation is underway.
