Poopmaster 6000 cleans up after crows in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — If you’ve walked around in downtown Portland recently, it is hard not to notice all the crows. And all the droppings they leave behind.

But Portland Mall Management has a new tool too fight the crows and their mess — the Poopmaster 6000.

The cleaning machine uses water, a scrubber and sweeper to clean up the mess. It’s self-contained, meaning it pulls all the water and mess back up for disposal later.

Officials say the machine is very efficient and can be used during the day.

Look for the Poopmaster 600 on downtown sidewalks during the week in crow season, which is considered to run between fall and spring.
