PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) — It’s tax day, and to ensure you get your taxes in on time, the United States Postal Service has arranged late collection times at three local post offices.
USPS locations in Portland, Salem and Springfield will offer mail pickup until midnight. Tax filers can drop their envelopes in the blue collection boxes in front of the following post office locations:
- Portland Main Post Office: 715 NW Hoyt St.
- Salem Main Post Office: 1050 25th Street SE
- Eugene/Springfield Gateway Station: 3148 Gateway St.
Post office representatives would like to remind the public that IRS forms are not available at postal locations.
