Victim pinned in car after NW Skyline crash

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Multiple people were injured a crash in Northwest Portland on Thursday, and one of them was pinned in a car, fire officials said.

The crash happened at NW Skyline Boulevard and Ash Road around 4:15 p.m., Portland Police Bureau said. Investigators determined a car with 3 people inside crossed the center line and hit a large delivery truck head-on.

Firefighters extricated one person who was trapped inside the car. That victim was taken to the hospital via LifeFlight and 2 other people with traumatic injuries were transported via ambulance.

Two people who were in the delivery truck weren’t injured, police said.
