PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland teenager is behind bars and facing felony charges after being tracked down and arrested in Southeast Portland in the very early hours of Tuesday.
Mohamed Ali was taken into custody at a residence in the 9700 block of SE Ankeny after PPB K9 Rookie tracked him to that area. The 19-year-old had felony warrants for his arrest.
A remote camera was attached to K9 Rookie, which let officers safely look for Ali in a certain spot, PPB tweeted.
Ali faces felony charges for robbery, assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
