PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Emily was just a little girl when she was featured on Wednesday’s Child with Jeff Gianola. She was 12 years old and looking for her adoptive home.
She was among a group of children Jeff took to Disneyland for a special trip in 1992.
Jeff recently caught up with Emily via Skype. She’s married with 3 kids and lives in northern Washington.
And even after all these years, Emily still treasures the memories she made at the Southern California theme park. She even has a photo album of the trip.
Now, nearly 3 decades later, Emily gets to take her own children back to the “Happiest Place on Earth.”
KOIN 6 News, Wednesday’s Child coordinator Kendra and Disneyland worked together to gift Emily and her family 5 tickets to the park.
