PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Rashaad Penney had a career rushing day and Russell Wilson threw for 2 touchdowns and ran for another as the Seattle Seahawks finished their season on a high note with a road win over the Arizona Cardinals.

With their 38-30 victory, the Seahawks finish 7-10. The playoff-bound Cardinals finished 11-6

The Seattle Seahawks were down 7-0 just 12 seconds into their game against the Cardinals in Glendale, Arizona. But they came right back and took a 17-10 lead at halftime of the regular season finale.

Zach Allen gave Arizona a quick lead when he scooped-and-scored from 16 yards out after a Russell Wilson fumble. But the Seahawks came right back to tie it on a Wilson-to-Tyler Lockett TD pass from the 43.

Early in the second quarter, Matt Prater gave the Cardinals a 10-7 lead with a 41-yard field goal. But Wilson and Lockett connected again, this time from the 5, to give Seattle their first lead of the day, 14-10.

Jason Myers extended Seattle’s lead to 17-10 when he split the uprights from 38 with 1:23 left in the half.

On their opening drive of the 3rd quarter, Arizona tied it, 17-17, on a 20-yard pass from Kyler Murray to James Conner.

The Cardinals regained the lead midway through the 3rd quarter. After Wilson was picked off the Cardinals drove down and Conner punched it in from the 1 yard line to take a 24-17 lead.

But Seattle again tied it. Wilson connected on a 25-yard TD with Freddie Swain late in the 3rd quarter to knot the score at 24-24.

They regained the lead after Arizona muffed a punt deep in their own zone. Seattle recovered on the Cardinals 10 and a few plays later Wilson ran it in from 4 yards out to take a 31-24 lead early in the 4th quarter.

A Prater 30-yard field goal brought the Cardinals within 4. But Rashaad Penney broke loose for a 62-yard touchdown run to give the Seahawks a 38-27 lead with 4:31 left.

Then with 1:13 left, Arizona had to settle for a field goal, making their deficit 8 points.
