Oregon State beats Stanford, is now bowl eligible

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Oregon State Beavers needed one win to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2013. They took care of business at home Saturday against Stanford.

The Beavers scored touchdowns in every quarter, scoring 14 points in the first half and another 21 in the second half en route to a 35-14 win over the Cardinal.

Chance Nolan threw for 257 yards and 2 touchdowns and BJ Baylor added 80 yards on the ground for Oregon State.

With the win, the Beavers improve to 6-4 and are now bowl eligible.
