PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A 57-year-old man, who allegedly told investigators he engaged in bestiality, is charged with distributing and possessing child pornography and remains in jail.
The allegations against Terry Mackie stretch from September 1, 2016 through Feb. 14, 2018, according to a federal complaint filed by law enforcement.
According to the complaint, special agents with the Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations spoke with a cooperating witness who said they received a thumb drive containing child pornography from a man named “Terry.”
The cooperating witness told investigators that “Terry likes to wear diapers, enjoys having sex with animals and uses the username ‘Diaper Perv/DiaperPerv,'” according to the complaint.
The thumb drive was reviewed by federal investigators and they determined there was child pornography on the device.
A search warrant was executed at Mackie’s address in the area of Northeast 109th and Northeast Broadway in Portland. When he was questioned by federal investigators, Mackie told investigators that they would find child porn on the hard drive “and stated that he has engaged in bestiality,” according to court documents.
Mackie also admitted that he had used the screen name “PervInDiapers” in chat rooms.
Investigators seized other electronic media during the search warrant and an examination of those media revealed more than 100 pictures and videos of child porn, according to court documents.
Agents found a photo of Mackie wearing a diaper and a video of him having sexual contact with a dog, according to the federal complaint.
Based on the law enforcement database HSI looked through, there was no evidence to suggest that Mackie had a criminal record prior to his arrest.
Mackie appeared before Magistrate Judge Paul Papak on Wednesday. He has been ordered held in custody.
