PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Lincoln City youth sports coach was arrested and charged with more than 2 dozen crimes related to alleged sex abuse of minors.

Several parents tipped police off to the crimes. Police identified 22-year-old Tyler William Lopez as the suspect and arrested him, Lincoln City Police Dept. said.

Lopez coached youth basketball, football and baseball in the area.

He faces 31 charges related to sex crimes including first and second-degree sexual abuse, using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, encouraging child sexual abuse, luring a minor, attempt to commit a class A felony, invasion of personal privacy, online sexual corruption of a child, among others.

Lopez is being held in Lincoln County Jail on $1.5 million bail.
