PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A landslide on OR-18 spread large rocks across the road, blocking traffic.
The landslide, which happened Saturday morning, stopped traffic in both directions.
According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, a geologist visited the site and said it was safe to begin partially clearing the road.
Work has already begun at the scene and ODOT said that they hope to have one lane open this afternoon.
