PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Authorities who executed a search warrant this week found drug paraphernalia inside a private adult business where nude women put on lingerie shows for men, according to court documents and law enforcement officials.
Richard Barajas, 36 owns Club Fantasy on NE Columbia Boulevard, records show.
On Tuesday, deputies with Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office’s Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at the club, which also doubles as Barajas’ residence.
They reportedly found about a 1/2 ounce of heroin on Barajas when he was arrested.
Deputies also located a 9mm pistol, according to court documents.
When he was stopped, Barajas “exhibited signs of being under the influence of heroin,” according to prosecutor Samuel Y. Leineweber’s probable cause affidavit.
Numerous syringes and scales were also found in the club, records show.
Barajas appeared in Multnomah County Circuit Court on Wednesday where he was charged with one count each of possession of heroin and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was previously convicted of unlawful delivery of meth in 2014.
He is scheduled to appear back in court later this month.
