PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 15-year-old who police said admitted to being a member of the Norteno gang was arrested in connection with two gun-related crimes in Vancouver.

On Oct. 2, shots were fired at the Heather Falls Apartment on NE Fourth Plain Blvd. Police found bullets in occupied apartments and cars in the parking lot.

On Nov. 2, an unknown amount of money was taken during an armed robbery at the Chevron gas station on NE 162nd Avenue. During that crime, police got surveillance video and a description of the suspect.

Vancouver police said the teen they arrested is suspected in both incidents. 

The 15-year-old was arrested on December 2 on charges of attempted murder, assault, drive-by shooting, unlawful possession of a firearm, robbery, assault and felony harassment. He was booked into the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.
