SALEM, Ore. (KOIN) — One person was shot to death and 3 others injured at a Salem strip club early Saturday morning.
The shots were fired around 12:45 a.m. at Stars Cabaret, 1550 Weston Court NE in Salem, police said. Officers found the 4 victims when they arrived. 47-year-old Darryl Jones died later at Salem Hospital. Police aren’t releasing the names of the other victims due to safety concerns and the ongoing investigation.
Police said at the time of the shooting, the strip club was very crowded with both employees and patrons. Detectives determined the shooting was not random but was related to an altercation involving one of the injured victims.
The suspect is described as a bald, Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s with a stocky build.
