PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – The Oregon Ducks are looking to keep their momentum up with Saturday’s upcoming game against Washington State University after traveling north to a hostile environment in Seattle, winning a tough 35-31 rivalry game against the Washington Huskies this past weekend.

This match-up proved to live up to the hype as the Ducks were down by 14 at the start of the fourth quarter. They eventually fought their way back to bring the game within one score. Then, Justin Herbert showed why he is considered one of the nations best as he led a drive down the field and capped it off with a six-yard touchdown pass to Jaylen Redd to put the Ducks up.

The Ducks defense struggled throughout the game giving up the most points it has all season, but when it mattered most, they came up big. A tough defense forced the Huskies into a fourth-down situation and the Ducks defense did what they have done all year long, which is to make the big play. Once the Huskies failed to convert, the deal was sealed for head coach Mario Cristobal and the Ducks.

Now, the Ducks are looking to extend their winning streak with a matchup against the Cougars at Autzen, breaking a curse: Oregon has lost the last four games against WSU, which is the longest losing streak for the Ducks in this conference.

Joining the show is Scott Reed, senior writer for Ducks Sports Authority, who breaks down the road win for the Ducks. He also gives the latest injury updates, previews the next match up and talks about what’s in store for the Ducks for the rest of the season.
