PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man accused of running a Northeast Portland massage business without a license is facing sexual abuse charges.

Somphone Phomphackdy turned himself in to police on Thursday and was booked at the Multnomah County Detention Center.

The 67-year-old man, who is also known as “Ole,” was running a chiropractic and massage business at his home on NE 162nd Avenue, according to Portland police.

Investigators think clients ranging from young children to elderly adults were treated at Phomphackdy’s business. They said the charges against Phomphackdy stem from two incidents that happened in the fall of 2013 and the spring of 2018.

Phomphackdy is facing two counts of sexual abuse, one count of practicing massage without a license and one count of license required to practice.

Officials think Phomphackdy may have more victims. They’re asking victims to contact Detective Jeff Myers at 503.823.0595. A translator will be available to help and a person’s immigration status will not be investigated, officials said.
