PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) – KOIN 6 News reporter Joel Iwanaga pleaded guilty Monday to shoplifting items from a Whole Foods store in December.
On December 19, 2014, he was arrested for stealing food and hats from the Whole Foods in Hillsboro.
On March 23 he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. Iwanaga, 44, has no prior criminal record.
On Monday, March 30, Joel Iwanaga resigned from KOIN 6 News.
