PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A new roller coaster is debuting at Oaks Amusement Park just in time for spring break.
After a 3-year process, Adrenaline Peak opens Saturday. The ride begins by taking riders 72 feet straight up into the air. It also features a past vertical first drop, a 97 degree loop and an Immelmann turn.
“People were ready for something new, little more dynamic, little more exciting, so give the people what they want,” Oaks Amusement Park events and promotions manager Emily MacKay says.
There is a pre-launch party at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Get tickets here.
