Louisville, Ky. (KOIN) — Around 15,000 people attended a traditional Muslim service that was part of 2 days of mourning for fans of Muhammad Ali.

The boxing champion died on June 3 at 74.

Ali will be laid to rest in Louisville on Friday after an interfaith memorial service starting at 2 p.m. at the KFC Yum! Center.

KOIN 6 News will be streaming the service live on Friday

Before the service there will be a procession through Louisville starting at 9 a.m.

Ali’s wish was to have his memorial at an arena and attended by fans.

Bill Clinton, a longtime friend of Ali, will give a Eulogy. Many other notable friends of the champion will speak.
