PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One person is dead and another is injured after shots rang out in Northeast Portland late Monday night.
Gunshots were reported near Northeast Alberta Street and Northeast 55th, just a few blocks away from Rigler Elementary School around 10:20 p.m. When police arrived at the scene, they found two people — one person who was injured and another person who was already deceased.
The surviving victim was rushed to a hospital via ambulance. There is no word on their current condition.
There is no suspect information at this time.
