PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man who manipulated a teenage girl into sending him nude photos was sentenced to 20 months in prison.

The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office said Gregory Craine, 37, pleaded guilty to one count of attempting to use a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct and one county of 2nd-degree sexual abuse.

Investigators said Craine met the girl when she was 17 and in treatment for addiction. Over the course of several months, Craine asked for sexually explicit photos and videos of her.

A statement from the victim said:

“Gregory Craine, you took so much from me. You took my security, my trust, and the part of me [that] believed there was good in everyone. You killed parts of me that I loved. It’s not fair to me or to the people in my life who matter to me. You created an ugly thing in me that keeps love out and fear inside.”

She also said she has become a better and stronger person since meeting Craine. Deputy District Attorney BJ Park said she’s in now enrolled in college.
