PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Eugene man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of his 87-year-old grandmother.
Sally Baldwin of Creswell died at the hospital on April 21 after suffering blunt force trauma in an assault weeks earlier. She died from complications of immobilization caused by her injuries.
James Lynn Holt, 44, was under investigation as a person of interest in the case. He was arrested on an unrelated warrant on April 9 and now faces charges of murder, first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary in Lane County.
