SILVERTON, Ore. (KOIN) — A man accused of shooting his girlfriend to death last August plead guilty to all charges nearly a year later, authorities told KOIN 6 News.
On Monday, 43-year-old Jason Clifford Down plead guilty to 6 charges related to the murder of 50-year-old Cassandra Wagner on August 30, 2014.
Down plead guilty to charges of aggravated murder, first-degree burglary, unlawful use of a weapon, felony possession of a firearm, first-degree theft and unauthorized departure, Silverton Police Dept. said.
Down and Wagner were reportedly a couple at the time of the murder.
He is expected to be sentenced in September.
