Even at a young age, Jessica Brody knew she wanted to be an author. In 2005 she traded in her career in the film industry and went to work as a writer.
Fourteen years later, Brody has 17 books to her name. She writes for tweens, teens and adults. She has also published a “how-to” book for other aspiring writers called, Save the Cat! Writes a Novel.
For this edition of Jenny’s Writers’ Bloc, Brody talks with Jenny Hansson about the strange stops along her road to becoming a writer and how hard it was to take a French Literature classic into space.
