PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man who was sought after an early-morning blaze burned through a home in Southeast Portland has been found.

At around 4:19 a.m. Wednesday, Portland Fire and Rescue responded to a house fire near the Woodstock Neighborhood.

Portland Fire reportedly learned that the tenants of the house were out of town at the time of the fire, but their 21-year-old son wasn’t with them. The house received extensive damage, including to the son’s room.

PFR and the Portland Police Bureau were worried that the man could have been hurt in the fire, may have no longer had the medication he needs and may have been lost or confused.

However, as of Thursday afternoon, police say he was found and was safely reunited with his family.
