TILLAMOOK, Ore. (KOIN) — One person has died following a fishing boat capsizing near the mouth of the Tillamook Bay Saturday, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Four people had to be rescued from the 38-foot vessel around 4:40 p.m. Saturday. Emergency crews said all of the boats’s occupants were taken to local hospitals but two of the victims were unresponsive at the time.

The status of the other three victims was not immediately available.

Coast Guard officials said the boat is out of Warrenton, Oregon.
