PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — After nearly nine hours, an armed standoff with a barricaded subject in Hillsboro has ended Wednesday morning, according to police.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Hillsboro police responded to the area of 2055 Southeast 44th Avenue.
Around 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday police told KOIN 6 the person was still inside the building, but officials thought they may be nearing a “peaceful end.”
Officials said there was no threat to the public during the standoff, and the area has since cleared.
Police have not identified the suspect or said what started the standoff.
