PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland couple was indicted on multiple-federal counts on Wednesday after investigators found evidence of cross-state marijuana distribution and illegally acquired firearms, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a release.

Isaiah Lee Holt, 30, and Marjorie Livingston, 37, will make court appearances on Thursday and Friday, respectively.
Court documents, according to the Attorney’s Office, allege the two’s illegal activity connecting to this indictment began in February when Livingston purchased a firearm for Holt, a convicted felon. Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were notified by an assistant manager at the store.
Then, on April 4, ATF agents served a search warrant for Holt and Livingston’s Northeast Portland home. Agents, according to the indictment, found a lot. On Holt, they found two cell phones, two bundles of cash, two keys and small baggies of cocaine containing about 11.5 grams. Later on, agents would discover messages with phone numbers in North Carolina, Georgia, Texas and Florida that included photos of a large amount fo marijuana, shipping receipts and bank deposits.

Inside the home, agents found materials they said were consistent with a drug trafficking operation. They also found a locked safe containing $46,100 in cash, two bags containing about 14 pounds of marijuana, U.S. Postal Service labels, a heat saver and food saver bags.
An AR-556 rifle, a 9mm pistol and a loaded .40 caliber-forearm with an attached laser were also found.
Holt will be arraigned on Thursday, Livingston’s first court appearance is Friday.
